Romance & Rebellion A/W21
Autumn/Winter 21
Bold, brash, loud, and moody - Saint and Sofia’s November campaign combines the romance of a nostalgic by-gone era with the rebellion of youth today. Relying on this dichotomy, with a disdain for complacency, Saint and Sofia’s AW21 offerings shine a bright anarchic light in the dark winter to come. Contrasting the location’s decidedly formal settings, the collection’s anarchic finishings rely heavily upon Saint and Sofia’s incendiary essence.
Embracing the season whilst challenging the status-quo, the collection features classic styles with bold twists. Brash infusions of red within the range punch through an otherwise darkened palette; injecting personality into your winter wardrobe. Thick woolen knits, paired with contrasting leather accessories showcase the collection’s versatility. Dress up some of the range’s more formal offerings to paint the town red, or rely on comfort with organic cotton pieces from the collection to make a statement.

Chiddingstone Castle
We filmed this at Chiddingstone Castle in Kent, England - a 30-acre estate with over 400 years of history. Chiddingstone Castle has Tudor origins dating back to the 1500s, Victorian rooms and was remodeled in the 19th century to resemble a medieval castle. It has been owned and lived in by an eclectic mix of people: the Streatfeild family, Lord Astor, military forces during WWII, Long Dene School, and the collector Denys Eyre Bower.
In 1955, Bower bought Chiddingstone Castle to house his extensive collections of art and antiquities. His dream was to share his collections with the nation and to preserve them for future generations. After his death in 1977, a charitable trust was set up to honour his wish.
Behind the scenes
Our Creative Team filmed this Campaign in October in just one day at Chiddingstone Castle in Kent, England. Chiddingstone is a 30-acre estate with over 400 years of history and was left in trust to the nation. Just 40 mins from Central London, it was our home for photography and filming. The team at Chiddingstone was a delight to work with and very thoughtfully made us afternoon tea with cheese scones and a particularly lovely chutney.
Concept by Megan Aytlott and Michael Higham. Produced by Malcolm Bell. Photography by Michael Higham and Dominika Durian. Videography by Rodrigo Belasquem.
